What these terms cover
These terms apply to antchambers.com and to anything you read, download or send through it. By using the site you accept them.
They do not govern the AntChambers service itself. If your firm subscribes, the relationship is governed by a signed order and master services agreement, and by theData Processing Addendum. Where any of those conflict with these terms, the signed agreement prevails.
Who you are dealing with
- Legal entity
- ANT LLP, a limited liability partnership incorporated in India
Using this website
You may read it, print it, and quote it in your own evaluation papers. You may not:
- Use it to break the law, or to help anyone else do so.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or to any system or network connected to it.
- Introduce anything malicious, or deliberately try to impair its availability.
- Scrape it systematically to build a competing product or a resale dataset.
- Misrepresent yourself, or send an enquiry in someone else’s name.
Security research conducted in good faith is welcome. Tell us first atsupport@antchambers.com, stay within what you have told us you will do, and do not access anyone else’s data. We will not pursue researchers who act on that basis.
Our content
The text, design, diagrams, screenshots and the AntChambers name and marks on this site belong to ANT LLP or are used with permission. Reading the site does not transfer any of it to you.
You may reproduce short extracts for internal evaluation with attribution. Anything more — republishing, redistributing, or using our material in your own marketing — needs our written permission first. Ask; we usually say yes.
Published prices
The figures on our pricing page are list prices in Indian Rupees, exclusive of Goods and Services Tax, which is charged additionally at the prevailing rate.
- They are an invitation to discuss terms, not an offer capable of acceptance. A binding price arises only in a written quote we issue to you.
- We may change them at any time. A change does not affect a written quote still within its validity period, or a subscription already running.
- A written quote is valid for 30 days from issue unless it says otherwise.
- The standard subscription runs for 12 months, paid annually upfront, with its price fixed for that term. Renewal pricing is provided at least 60 days before expiry; there is no automatic percentage escalation.
We try to keep the page accurate, but if a price is published in obvious error we are not obliged to supply at it. We will tell you promptly and honour anything already quoted in writing.
Enquiries and demonstrations
Enquiry forms open a message in your own email application. Sending one starts a conversation and nothing more — it creates no contract and no obligation on either side.
Please do not include client names, matter details or anything privileged in an enquiry. If you need to show us real data to explain a migration, say so and we will arrange a route that is appropriate for it.
Demonstrations run against sample data. Figures shown in screenshots and worked examples on this site are illustrative and are not a representation about any real firm or matter.
This is not legal, tax or accounting advice
This site describes software. It refers to GST, TDS, financial-year numbering and similar matters because the product handles them, not to advise you on them.
Nothing here is legal, tax or accounting advice, and none of it should be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional on your firm’s own position. Our customers are better placed than most to know the difference, and we would rather say it plainly than bury it.
Availability
This is a marketing website. We do not promise it will be available uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Service levels for the AntChambers product are a different matter entirely, and are set out in the signed agreement — not here.
Liability
We take reasonable care over what we publish here, but this site is provided as it is. To the extent Indian law permits, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on it — in particular indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, and loss of data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing here affects a consumer’s statutory rights.
Our liability under the subscription is governed by the signed agreement, not by this clause.
Links out
Where we link to another organisation’s site we do so for reference. We do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.
You are welcome to link to this site from your own, provided you do so fairly and do not suggest an association, approval or endorsement that does not exist.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts atMumbai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site.
If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
